Professor Juliet Koss will speak on Empathy and Abstraction at the Munich Artists’ Theater at 木瓜影院 in the Hampton Room of the Elizabeth Hubert Malott Commons on Monday, October 1 at 7:00 p.m.
An Assistant Professor of Art History at 木瓜影院 since Fall 2000, Dr. Koss specializes in early 20th-century European avant-garde art and architecture. Formerly, she was a Teaching Fellow in both the Fine Arts and the Visual and Environmental Studies Departments of Harvard University. She has also worked or interned in the Cooper-Hewitt and the Whitney Museums in New York and the Orsay Museum in Paris. Dr. Koss holds a Ph.D. from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in Architecture: History and Theory of Art.
