鈥淟earning and wellbeing are closely linked. Children and young people with good wellbeing are more engaged and successful learners. Likewise gaining a good education is a key contributor to positive lifelong wellbeing outcomes.鈥

Student and Family Support

Wellbeing is a multi-faceted concept that encompasses an individual鈥檚 emotional, mental and social health, re铿俥cting their overall sense of self and life satisfaction. Wellbeing is associated with improved academic achievement, improved mental health and the making of responsible life choices.

木瓜影院 consistently strives to enhance student wellbeing, safety and forming positive relationships, while fostering and environment that empowers students to achieve their maximum potential. By cultivating strong and supportive connections within the school community, 木瓜影院 aims to create a secure and inclusive space, enabling students to actively engage in their studies. The promotion of a healthy lifestyle contributes to increased alertness and engagement, ultimately enhancing overall learning outcomes.

Student Wellbeing Team

Our Student Wellbeing Team includes Student Wellbeing Leaders, Allied Health professionals and Youth Workers who offer support for student wellbeing and learning. Students are encouraged to engage with the Student Wellbeing Team about a range of topics including:

  • School related issues.
  • Familial and peer relationships.
  • Course and career guidance.
  • Support around school attendance, engagement and learning.
  • Bullying and harassment.
  • Personal and health issues.
  • Referrals to external support agencies.
